Today is the era of online things. If you have noticed good then you will find that everything is slowly and slowly coming to online platform. Today you can pay your electric bills online, can book movie tickets online, can transfer money online. Why did we need to shift to online mode when everything was working well offline (at least according to a defined group, offline systems were running fine). All I can say in two world is "Time Saving." Today's life style is such that one don't have time for their beloved ones. So if they follow those old rules of offline world then they will not find time for themselves also.
I work in IT industry and I know the importance of time. Sitting relax in office and clearing all the bills online is something that I love and find very comfortable and time saving.

Now coming to online bus bookings then today almost every state transport corporation is providing the option of online bus booking facilities. There are some third party vendors for the same but I will not talk about them as when we can go with the officials then why to go with third party. I mean if something wrong happens then you will be in safe hands of official organizations.I can see various transport portals today. Personally I would advise you to go with the official portals only. In some cases if something is wrong with official portals then you can prefer some trusted vendors like RedBus, Yatra etc Please let me know if you need the complete list.
By booking your bus tickets online you have the option of availing various offers, discounts. I mean by booking your tickets offline, you will not find any discounts, lucky draws etc but by booking them online (especially with third party vendors) you always have the option of availing discounts and taking part in promotional offers which eventually means saving.
